June 24th, the light of Piedmont welcomed a love born far away but grown strong in the streets of Turin. Pierangelo, from Salento. Alessandra, from Calabria. Two different roots, intertwined in a city that made them meet, grow, choose. Theirs is a story that smells of the South but speaks with the accent of shared life: that made of study, work, daily life. Of dreams built step by step.
The majestic Castello Cavour in Santena, a place steeped in history, elegance and memory, provided the backdrop for the ceremony. Here, where time seems to have stopped, Pierangelo and Alessandra said yes to each other between emotional glances and silences full of meaning. Every stone of that castle seemed to resonate with their love, in a perfect balance between past and present.
The evening took us to Cascina Faletta 1881, where the Piedmont countryside welcomed friends and relatives with authentic warmth. A convivial table, wines that tell the story of the land, carefully thought-out dishes: everything spoke of them, of their elegance without ostentation, of the sincere joy of those who know what really matters.
Pierangelo and Alessandra were embraced by the affection of extraordinary friends, capable of making the wedding day a true celebration of love, sharing, being together. And we, silent but participating witnesses, found ourselves at home. In the warmth of Salento and Calabria, we recognized the spirit that belongs to us: the Sicilian one, made of celebration, generosity and truth.
With them, we had the privilege of telling not only a day but an energy. We photographed the authenticity, the spontaneity, the beauty that is born when you are truly yourself.
And so, with every shot, we tried to convey the essence of a story that is not forgotten. Because some loves simply leave traces.
