It still retains the warm charm of summer but already lets us glimpse the quiet pace of autumn. The colors become softer, the shadows longer, the light, less fierce than August, caresses things delicately. It is a suspended time and perhaps for this reason, so suitable for dreams.
In this atmosphere of sweet and luminous transition, Antonio and Melissa chose to say “yes”.
The day began in the timeless charm of Castello San Marco, in Calatabiano. Between lava stone and citrus fruits, the bride and groom’s preparations intertwined with the quiet wait for the day that changes everything.
The same castle, immersed in the greenery and echoes of the centuries, then welcomed the evening: a vibrant, authentic party, where friends were able to transform every toast into a small ritual of joy. The ceremony, however, took place in one of the most poetic places in all of Sicily: the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Rocca, clinging to the mountain overlooking Taormina.
A church carved into the living stone, overlooking a breathtaking panorama: the sea, the roofs, the Ancient Theater, all under the same sky, a silent witness to their love.
To tell their story, we moved through the streets of the historic center, guided by our reportage style, attentive to what arises spontaneously. The medieval alleys, the stone details, the shades of the late afternoon: each element spoke to us, helping us to convey the beauty of what we were experiencing.
Antonio and Melissa are sweet, close-knit and authentic.
Their presence is discreet but full of warmth.
Telling them was, for us, a privilege.
A day that we cherish with gratitude, like the light of September: gentle but capable of remaining.
